PG&E Begins Hazard Tree Removal and Fuel Reduction Along Power Lines in Jackson Demonstration State Forest

The following is a public notice issued by the Mendocino CAL FIRE unit:

Pacific Gas & Electric is conducting a hazard tree removal project under a Utility Exemption along the transmission power line crossing Jackson Demonstration State Forest (JDSF) and roughly paralleling Highway 20. Additional fuel reduction will be implemented in conjunction with this project. Areas where operations are occurring will be closed beginning immediately until February 1, 2022.

Information regarding the closures has been posted in locations near the work sites. Area closure is for public and worker safety during timber operations.

This notice is in accordance with Section 1438 and 1439, Title 14, California Code of Regulations.
