The following is a press release issued by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On 11-11-2021 at about 2:00 PM a Mendocino County Sheriffs Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an observed traffic violation in the 900 block of Branscomb Road in Laytonville, California.
The driver, Denise Hluchy, was contacted a wants/warrants records check was conducted which revealed Hluchy had three outstanding Mendocino County warrants for her arrest. One of the warrants was a felony for motor vehicle theft (10851 CVC).
Hluchy was taken into custody on all the listed arrest warrants and was booked into the Mendocino County Jail where she was to be held in lieu of $20,000.00 bail.
