Save the Date: Fort Bragg’s Holiday Lights Parade Will Light Up the Night This Saturday

The annual tree lighting ceremony and the Holiday Lights Parade will take place Saturday, December 4, 2021. The schedule of events is as follows:

  • 6:00 pm Mayor Bernie Norvell will say a few words and light this year’s tree.
  • 6:30 pm Lighted Truck Parade begins.

We are grateful to all of the participants in the evening’s events as well as the Nor Coast Rodders for coordinating the parade, the Lyme Timber Company for donating this year’s tree and to PG&E for helping us with the placement of the tree.

The Fort Bragg Police Department is still looking for volunteers to assist with traffic control during the upcoming Holiday Lights Parade programmed for December 4, 2021. Volunteers will assist as safety officers at crosswalks and assist with road closures. If you are wishing to volunteer please contact Acting Sergeant Anthony Welter at 707-961-2800 ext. 168 or at awelter@fortbragg.com.

  1. Please keep the smell of bitter skunk in your mouth at the tree lighting, holidays are not a time to spew the city woes you have created with your lack of expeditious effort and governing experience. Mr. Mayor ????
