Armed Suspect in Cloverdale Convenience Store Robbery Reportedly Flees North on Highway 101

Mendocino County law enforcement has been advised to be on the lookout for a vehicle associated with a suspected Cloverdale convenience store robbery suspect that occurred approximately a half-hour ago.

Scanner traffic at approximately 9:30 p.m. indicated a Hispanic male adult purportedly fled the scene of a Cloverdale robbery driving a vehicle described as a white, boxy sedan, possibly an Acura.

The suspect was described a 6′ tall and weighing 250 lbs. He was reportedly armed and wore a brown hoodie, jeans, a black COVID mask, and had a noticeable mole under his left eye.

UPDATE 10:04 p.m.: A second BOLO message was issued on the scanner that provided more details regarding the reported robbery. The suspect was described as having light brown hair, short and messy and when he reportedly robbed the Cloverdale convenience store “spoke in a calm clear voice” and demanded money. He brandished a firearm in his left hand and it was described as having a brown-handed, black flare, and attached flashlight. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was then seen driving away in a white four-door sedan northbound on Cloverdale Boulevard.
