A big rig “dropped a load of logs” by Outlet Creek and Hwy 162 at mile marker 58.3 south of Laytonville about 11:13 a.m., according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.

The truck is still on it’s wheels but its load spilled onto the southbound lanes.

One lane is open in both directions but traffic is moving slowly.

Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.

UPDATE 12:14 p.m.: All lanes are open now, according to Meriah Miracle, spokesperson for Caltrans. She says there is some debris being removed from the area. QuickMap shows traffic is still slightly slowed through the area but much better than earlier.
