A Mendocino County resident recently passed away from COVID-19. Our thoughts are with all of their family and friends.

Death #100: Minor less than 18 years old from Fort Bragg area; fully vaccinated with comorbidities.

Public Health asks all Mendocino County residents to think about the ways they are protecting themselves and their families from COVID-19. When in doubt, consult with and follow all CDC and CDPH guidance. Vaccination, masking, and social distancing remain the best tools for combating COVID-19.

Fully vaccinated people over age 16 should strongly consider getting a COVID-19 vaccine booster to improve immunity. If you have questions about boosters or vaccines in general, speak with your doctor, or call Public Health at 707-472-2759. To find the nearest vaccine clinic in your area, please visit the Public Health website at: www.mendocinocounty.org/covid19

  1. In 1918 an estimated 30 million died in first year of pandemic then another 10 million next couple years world wide, not sure what global population was then, significantly less obviously, but Covid has taken 5 million worldwide estimates, wtf are we doing here people, so sad for the ones that loose loved ones but don’t mandate this Guinea juice. Please Dr. F take a long nap we’re so tired of your probably will help comments , stands to reason probably maybe doesn’t sound like breakthrough science ?.

  2. A minor has passed away under the age of 18, someone’s son or daughter and these are the comments posted? How callous and shameful.

My heart goes out to this young person’s family and friends. Sending much love to them during this difficult time.

    • Yes this is devastating for the family. They will need the love, support, and prayers of their community during this extremely difficult time. ? I’m praying.

  3. obviously they already offered condolences the point is “Minor less than 18 years old from Fort Bragg area; fully vaccinated with
    comorbidities”

underlying health conditions. stop forcing the masses to vaccinate and following these asinine “laws” and making completely healthy individuals choose between working and supporting their families or getting a “vaccine” for something 99.9% of the population fights off as if it was the flu

    • I do not see any of the commenters in the comments section giving condolences to this child’s family. All I see are the continuous comments of folks who have no compassion for others and continue to spew unhelpful rhetoric during someone else’s pain and suffering. As a fellow human who has lost a child it blows me away at the indifference and lack of empathy some of you folks have.

      Truly pathetic.

  4. Lemurs and Papa Gerbils heading right of the cliff with the needle ? full of liquid disillusion flowing through there little mammal furry bodies, Which is the right and hopefully it works for you but not for all in fact check the numbers about Massachusetts
