Local Arborist Offers $1000 Reward for Help Finding His Stolen Chainsaws

Categories:

James Clarke, a local arborist, was dealt a savage blow when he awoke the morning of Friday, December 10, and found that $6,000 worth of chainsaws had been stolen from his truck.

Now, hoping to appeal to the community, he is offering $1,000 for anyone that successfully helps him track down the chainsaws, essential to earn his living.

Clarke told us the suspected thief reportedly drives a dark green Toyota Highlander. He has reason to suspect the thief was actively attempting to sell the equipment on Facebook.

Clarke was in contact with Ukiah Police Department and Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office and told us both agencies were both looking for the suspect.

“All I want and care about is my chainsaws,” Clarke told us.

The following is a complete inventory of the chainsaws Clarke had stolen and their serial numbers:

  1. So sorry, it’s so sad that there are such low life people out there that steal other people’s stuff. I hope you get your chainsaws etc back!!! ?

  2. Hope you get them back! Very expensive tools to leave in your truck, unfortunately you can’t expect people to leave your stuff alone these days!

  3. Wow , I’m sure Mr. Clarke appreciates your keen sense of advice, bet that’ll never happen again now that you’ve let him know his property may not be safe alone. Oh and merry x-mas ? ? thanks PG

  4. These are our contractors who remove trees from power lines to prevent forest fires. This is CA at its best: Promote criminal behavior to the extent that “public prosecutors” win elections based on inducing crime, whilst simultaneously complaining about the consequences (in this case, by applauding those who exacerbate our risk of fire),

    • Prosecutors inducing crime?
Sounds very fishy (as in like BS) on your part and is an accussation that should be corroborated with actual facts.
