New MendoFever Milestone: 10,000 ‘Likes’ on Facebook

Categories:

To Our Readers-

We did it. 10,000 people have liked our Facebook page. A new milestone that’s for sure. Every ‘like’, ‘share’, comment, and message we receive tells us our readers are interested, engaged, and passionate about the happenings in their community.

Thank you for embracing MendoFever’s vision. We want to provide news that affects the working stiff, from fires to floods, to crime to the outdoors, to the small interactions that make a big impact on our daily lives.

Mendocino County, we are our best together. Our strength lies in the ties that bind us- our resilience, our DIY nature, our willingness to lend a hand.

If you know a story that needs telling, reach out. If you have come to rely on our stories to understand our community, consider donating. If you run a business and want to share with our readers, let’s talk about advertising.

Have a Merry Christmas, Mendocino County. Hold your loved ones close and once again, thank you.

I like to think of myself as a reporter for the Average Joe. Journalism has become a craft defined largely by city dwellers on America's coasts. It’s time to take it back. I have been an Emerald Triangle resident since 2006 and this is year ten in Mendocino County. Please, email me at matthewplafever@gmail.com if you know a story that needs to be told.
