  1. I have found dead bodies on three occasions that police refused to follow up on. When nobodies die the police do not follow up. Homeless or drug deaths go into the abyss of we don’t give a shit! A Native American woman’s body dumped into a ditch near Colfax Ca got dropped when they determined she was a prostitut out of Reno. Eva Marie Miller was a human being who had a mother and father
Michael Humicy was dumped on Franklin Street in Ft Bragg but drugs made it a non crime.

    • My gosh such corruption within our law system. Sorry to the victims and their families. Change is in order.
Napa County not any better. I have been raped and tortured repeatedly a year and a half by an elusive serial killer, Napa authorities refuse to act siting ludicrous to find the serial killer after over fifty yrs thus allowing further harm to me. Disgusting as he is obsessed with me.

  2. We rarely hear about the people found dead in Mendocino and Lake County.

The ones I hear about on Mendo Fever rarely get followed up on. Sorry Matt! Names, circumstances, etc.

Who was the guy behind Ross Dress for Less in Ukiah that was found deceased? No name ever released that I know of.

A couple in UpperLake brutally murdered last year and it was hush hush never even made the paper!

So so many deaths here unreported. Regardless of what people think, we do care! We want to know who they are we want to know the circumstances.

These are members of our community who deserve at the very least an obituary online.

    • Obituaries are submitted to publishers by a family member or a friend. They get to choose which papers to submit to. Larger papers charge a fee. It is family that gets to choose how much publicity they want. For some not all news is worth the print.
