Every Home in the U.S. Eligible to Order Four Free At-Home COVID-19 Tests

The following is a press release issued by Mendocino County Public Health:

Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order 4 free at-home COVID-19 tests. The tests are completely free. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days.

The tests available for order:

Are rapid antigen at-home tests, not PCR.
Are also referred to as self-tests or over-the-counter (OTC) tests
Give results within 30 minutes (no lab drop-off required)

If you test positive, it is important to isolate for 10 days from the day of the test or the day of your first symptom. You may end isolation after 5 days if you test negative and have no symptoms on the 5th day of isolation. Call Public Health with any questions or support needed for COVID isolation, at 707-472-2759.
