Categories:

The following is a press release issued by the Ukiah Police Department. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

Jose Estrada Wirt [Mugshot from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Booking Logs]

On 01/19/2022 at about 9:56 AM, UPD Officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 700  block of Waugh Ln. for a report of a physical fight in progress among multiple male subjects. On arrival  Officers contacted an adult male with moderate injuries in the parking area of the complex.

The victim advised he had been involved in an altercation with another adult male, identified as Jose  Estrada Wirt. The victim stated that during a verbal exchange with Estrada Wirt moments earlier, Estrada Wirt displayed a knife toward him in a threatening manner. Estrada Wirt then entered an SUV in the parking lot as the victim was talking with another male subject. Estrada Wirt then drove at the victim and rammed him with the front of the vehicle. Estrada Wirt then fled the location in the vehicle. Estrada Wirt was not located at that time.

Officers had Medical personnel respond and assess the victim’s injuries. The victim was ultimately transported to the Hospital. Officers obtained witness statements and surveillance video which corroborated the victim’s account of events. A locate and arrest BOLO (Be on the lookout) was issued for Estrada Wirt for assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing of a weapon.

On 01/19/22 at approximately 1600 hours, Officers responded to a residence in the 2100 block of S.  State St. after learning Estrada Wirt may have been at the location. On arrival, Officers made contact with  Estrada Wirt at the residence where he was taken into custody without incident.

Estrada Wirt was transported to the Mendocino County Jail where he was booked for the listed violations.

  1. He was born here… He is Not a she…….. Cmon people get your facts straight before u try to start clowning or trying to clown. This guy is a good man takes good care of his children and you guys calling him a “she” is a false.
    statements …….

    • If he keeps running people over with his car. What do you think he’ll do to his kids when they get older & piss him off. Let’s get him confined to a house working at home. That should do it

      • He loves the fuk out of his kids he will go to war behind him don’t u ever put his kids in the mix or talk down on someone u don’t fuking kno!! U don’t even kno the full story u wasn’t there so shut ur mouth he’s a great ass father

  2. Sean your not very smart for just automatically assuming someone is an immigrant just because they are mexican, I bet your a racist POS people like you is what’s wrong with this country

    • The so called “victim” is a mfin rapist while yall just up here defending him cause who rapes their own mfin child so yall defending a rapist but wanna talk on jose without knowing the full mfin story smh silly ass people! But before yall wanna speak on jose yall need to get all the mfin facts right dumb ducks

  3. Violence destroys every righteous cause. To assault someone, even if they are evil, only destroys your own goals. Violence produces violence!

    • Sooo your basically saying that the so called victim that it’s okay to be a rapist smh your really sick person if u think that and he didn’t assault anyone u don’t even kno the full fucking story u only hearing liess not facts! There was witnesses that will say that its all lies none of this is true n not the full story

  4. @matt why is it that you assume the official report is correct. Their wasn’t a hearing with a judge so everything at this point is hear say. So from you’re integrity I would just as well as the community would appreciate it if you were to not go off of things like this. We rely on your for news thats factual. Also how can you ban people for not having proof when the court has proven said name to be a rapist? And your banning people for facts doesn’t make any sense.

    • When information is provided by official sources, whether it be the County of Mendocino or Ukiah Police Department, there’s a reliability of the information that diverges greatly from a family member of someone who is clearly upset that their loved one is involved in legal matters. I will ban people for making legal or criminal claims against another without proof. If that person wants to reference a press release or news article or criminal complaint against the individual they claim is a rapist, then I would consider that to have a basis in fact. Across the media spectrum, press releases are utilized as a mechanism for getting information to the community. As it states on the top, this person is considered innocent until proven guilty.

  5. It’s like we are a bunch of 5th graders. I’m including myself in this statement. You all need a head squeeze. I used to find them very beneficial on the playground.

  6. Guys a animal playing bumper cars with people’s bodies. Roid Rage? Withdrawals? Hormone Pills? Then article started off calling him “him” here & then “she” there. Very comical.
