Vegetation Fire North of Leggett

Early this morning, residents north of Leggett discovered a wildfire burning in timberland.

The first reports indicate the fire was several acres and about 9:25 a.m., a dispatcher requested Calfire’s helicopter to respond to the scene.

There were no structures involved and no evacuations called for, according to reports over the scanner.
