Public Notice: Three Mendocino County residents recently passed away with COVID-19. Our thoughts are with their families and friends.
- Death #115: 92 year-old man from the Ukiah area; vaccinated with comorbidities.
- Death #116: 76 year-old man from the South Coast area; unvaccinated with comorbidities.
- Death #117: 80 year-old man from the North Coast area; vaccinated with comorbidities.
Public Health asks all Mendocino County residents to consider the best ways to protect themselves and their families from COVID-19. When in doubt, consult with and follow all CDC and CDPH guidance. Vaccination, masking, and social distancing remain the best tools for combating COVID-19.
Fully vaccinated people should strongly consider getting a COVID-19 booster to improve immunity. Boosters are available for everyone age 12 and older. If you have questions about boosters or vaccines in general, speak with your doctor, or call Public Health at 707-472-2759. What can one say at this point? So much credibility has been lost with our health officials and so called medical experts. I think by saying “antiviral effect” they actually mean “effective”. I can only guess WHO would have pressured them to change those terms.

I got the bug! 3 months into a sinus infection I lost my appetite 2 days ago. Tried to go to VA but they don’t want me. Went to ER this morning. No fever, no body aches, a bit of bronchitis it’s not even a flu.

Cuz that’s the one I had and The worst part was the fear around it. If there was no fear around it I would not have worried about it one bit. I would’ve just went through the few days of flu like symptoms. I tested positive at home so I went to get a PCR. Both positive.
