The following is a press release from the Kate Wolf Music Festival:
The 25th Kate Wolf Music Festival [KWMF], takes place June 23rd – 26th at the beautiful Black Oak Ranch in Laytonville, California. It is one of Northern California’s most loved summer events. This will be our farewell gathering for the KWMF festival and will feature more than 60 acts on 4 stages.
“Watching this community grow thru the years and share with a common purpose of creating an atmosphere of love, peaceful coexistence, and an immersion into the joys of making and listening to top quality music has been one of the most awesome and inspiring experiences of my life, “said Cloud Moss, founder, and co-producer. Cloud Moss continued; “That this particular event is annually shared by up to four generations of attendees makes it even more special. I am looking forward to all of us being able to gather once again amongst the beauties of Black Oak Ranch and finally get to celebrate our 25 years of a shared festival experience together, one that will ultimately culminate in the bittersweet reality of this being our Farewell Festival. Thanks to everyone that has helped to keep this waking dream going for so long and provided your own unique dab of color to this special festival canvas. It’s been a great ride, these past 25 years, plus. In the words of Kate, Give Yourself To Love.”
Black Oak Ranch will be pleased to have hosted 20 years of the Kate Wolf Music Festival in 2022. With over 500 different artists performing here since our first one in 2000, we have been honored to be a part of bringing local, regional, national, and internationally known artists to the north coast each year, making music available for everyone in a setting that allows a small community to spring forth for a few days amongst the ancient oaks in Mendocino County. We want to thank all the fans who have made this a special time each year, for bringing subsequent generations of family on board, and for making everyone present feel welcome in this like-minded crowd of music lovers. Hogs and kisses to all! – The Black Oak Ranch Community
