Fired from Ukiah Police Department amidst accusations of sexual violence and drug possession, Kevin Murray was out on bail in Lake County when he allegedly saw a woman’s wallet on a store shelf, stuffed it in his pocket, stole some items within the wallet, and later turned it into law enforcement claiming he had found it.
