MCSO: Security Camera Captures Images of Gualala Burglar— Deputies Arrest Suspect Later Recognizing Her From Video


The following is a press release issued by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On 02-17-2022, Deputies from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a reported burglary in the 38100 block of Old Coast Highway in Gualala, California.

After arriving, Deputies were able to identify a description of the suspect due to the existence of home surveillance video footage.

Deputies checked the Gualala area and contacted a female in the 45000 block of Pacific Woods Road. The female matched the suspect’s description from the surveillance video footage and was identified as Colleen Warner.

At the conclusion of their investigation, Deputies placed Warner under arrest for 459/460(a) PC (First Degree Burglary).

Warner was booked into the Mendocino County Jail where she was to be held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.

  1. $50,000.00 bail for burglary? While Alden Larvie committed assault with a deadly weapon on a senior with bail about half that. Felony is dropped to misdemeanor and he’s back out on the street.
