Ukiah Man Found Working On a Car Arrested Due to Felony Warrant, Says MCSO

The following is a press release issued by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On 02-18-2022 at approximately 5:45 P.M., Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were patrolling the 1300 block of North State Street (Ukiah, California) when they observed a person, subsequently identified as Tony Maples working on a vehicle.

Deputies knew Maples from prior law enforcement contacts and knew he had an active felony arrest warrant. Maples was detained and a records check confirmed the existence of an outstanding Mendocino County felony warrant for his arrest.

Maples was arrested and booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he was to be held in lieu of $7,500.00 bail.

  1. I have known that guy since I was a little kid. The only thing he’s ever been arrested for are many many DUIs. He’s not violent he just can’t stop drinking and driving.

  2. Read Three Felonies A Day
    The average American commits 3 felonies per day under US and State Laws. Too many laws in this nation and lousy courts
