At 1:05 p.m., Multiple fire agencies are responding to a residential structure fire north of Hopland that began after a controlled burn escaped its lines. A firefighter from the scene is reporting a red barn is on fire.

Crews are accessing the fire via Old River Road across from Crawford Road.

Scanner traffic indicated the residential structure fire is in the vicinity of Jackson Keys Winery and the Crofoot Ranch.

Responding agencies include CALFIRE, Hopland Fire Department, and the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority.

UPDATE 1:36 p.m.: The Incident Commander has reported that initial reports were incorrect. The fire is actually a large debris fire next to an “ag building”. Hopland Fire is now the only one responding.
