Multiple Structures on Fire in Clearlake Oaks After RV Goes Up in Flames

Beginning at approximately 8:15 a.m. initial reports of a structure fire were dispatched to Lake County firefighters in the area of Beryl Way and Highway 20 in Clearlake Oaks.

The dispatcher described a fully-involved RV threatening multiple structures.

Beryl Way is closing as a result of the incident as a second structure has become involved. A medic unit has been requested to the scene.

UPDATE 9:47 p.m.: Scanner traffic indicates firefighters on scene are suggesting that the cause of this morning’s fire could be arson.

Crews have gotten the fire under control. Social media commenters are suggesting that one of the affected structures was a granny unit.

  1. I live across the street from Beryl way how could I not know?. My animals were freaking out I went out side but I smelled or saw nothing how could I miss a smoke plume the size of the state of Maryland? Wtf?
