Adventist Health is humbled to announce that our three hospitals in Mendocino  County are illuminated in yellow and blue as a symbol of peace, solidarity and support for the people of Ukraine.

The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has impacted our communities profoundly as images of suffering weigh heavy on our hearts. This pain also hits even closer to home, as we have our very own associates who have friends and family in those parts of the world as well.

“Even though we’re halfway around the world, we’re still connected,” explains Judson Howe, president for  Adventist Health in Mendocino County. “We’re lighting our buildings to show the people of Ukraine how much their courage, strength, and determination inspires us and that we are with them, praying for a resolution to this  conflict.”

Our Spiritual Care department will lead our teams at each hospital in a prayer for peace and healing in Ukraine on  Monday, March 28.

Our Adventist Health hospitals in Ukiah, Willits and Fort Bragg will be lighted in the Ukrainian flag’s colors throughout the month.
