All ages are invited to explore, observe, and engage in protecting our native pollinators. Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens will be hosting a Bumble Bees and Beneficials Family Field Day on Sunday, April 24 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. There will be lots to discover both in and around the Education Center that day. The event will include kids activities, self-guided field exploration, storytelling, music, bug displays, and seed bomb building. You can also take a deep dive into the world of pollinators with our special guest speakers (class details below).

“The garden is always alive with bumble bees, hummingbirds, newts, snakes, skunks, and more. I am excited to have a day that is dedicated to the exploration and enjoyment of the small beings that hold our world together,” said MCBG Garden Manager, Jaime Jensen. Come and enjoy family entertainment, and learn more about the great diversity of life that makes a thriving balanced garden ecosystem!
