Scanner traffic from this morning indicates that a person has died at the Mendocino National Forest Middle Creek Campground after reportedly being “impaled with a stick.”
Around 10:10 a.m., medical personnel was requested to the Middle Creek campground and an air ambulance was deployed due to the nature of the injury. The air ambulance would never make it to the scene.
