Last Friday, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reported a homicide suspect by the name of Austin Michael Medeiros was thought to be heading toward Mendocino County.
Despite multiple social media-reported sightings of Medeiros in Mendocino and Lake County, the 27-year-old man was arrested yesterday, April 10, 2022, in Santa Cruz while attempting to steal a boat.
A press release from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s states that Santa Cruz Police Department Officers reportedly found on his person nearly 30 grams of psychedelic mushrooms and a loaded, stolen firearm.
Medeiros is suspected of killing 28-year-old Emily Rose May Lobba in Kneeland on April 3, 2022. Law enforcement’s response to the violence resulted in a traffic pursuit that ended at the Arcata Community Forest when he footbailed. Despite hours of searching, he was not found until yesterday.
None of the charges levied at Medeiros have been tried in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Yeah, he passed through Mendocino county, but with a full sack of shrooms he tripped all the way to San Jose then onto Santa Cruz where the shrooms told him to hit the high seas and sail away….
i’m guessing that would be a witnessed first hand account from the know all be all.
Don’t be an ass, Floyd.
