Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a Toyota 4Runner plowed into a tree on Ukiah’s South Street near the intersection with State Route 253.

Initial reports indicate there is a single party inside of the vehicle requiring extrication and experiencing a moderate injury.

An air ambulance was requested to the scene but denied the request due to weather.
