Boat Found, Father and Son Still Missing After Fishing Trip on the Humboldt Bay

The following is a Facebook post from the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Humboldt Bay:

Shortly after midnight, Coast Guard crews located the missing vessel partially submerged approximately half a mile northeast of King Salmon. No sign of the occupants has been found.

Coast Guard helicopter and boat crews have continued to search for the missing fishermen along with shore parties from Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office. Personnel and assets from California Department of Fish and Wildlife and Humboldt Bay Fire are joining the ongoing search efforts.

Anyone sighting anything related to the search is requested to contact Sector Humboldt Bay via VHF-FM Ch 16 or 707-839-6113.
