Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Middletown

The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicates CHP is investigating a fatality in Middletown they have determined was a result of a traffic collision that occurred earlier this morning.

Scanner traffic associated with the incident described a “body with blood on it” being found near Perry’s Deli close to the intersection of State Route 29 and Callayomi Street. It was reportedly found lying in yellow scotch broom along the roadway.

Initially medical was dispatched but officers on the scene soon determined the individual had succumbed to injuries that resulted
