Categories:

Around 4:37 p.m., scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicated a traffic collision on State Route 175 between Hopland and Lake County resulted in the driver fleeing the scene onto the Hopland Pomo reservation.

Despite initial reports that the female driver required extrication, when the Incident Commander arrived on the scene near the intersection of SR175 and Nokomis Road around 4:44 p.m. they reported the adult female had fled the scene on foot.

Please remember that this story is unfolding. Information is being reported as we gather it. However, some of the information coming from witnesses and initial official reports could be wrong. We will do our best to get the facts but, in the case that something is inaccurate, we will update with correct information as soon as we can.
