Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a single vehicle traffic collision involving a two-door Ford Mustang occurred around 10:20 p.m. near the 18900 block of Philo Greenwood Road in the area of Hendy Woods,
The single party from the vehicle was described as a male who was “walking wounded”, which suggests injuries that are not significant enough to impede walking. A ground ambulance was dispatched to the scene.
The eastbound lane of the roadway is reportedly blocked as a result of the accident and the vehicle has major front-end damage. A tow truck has been dispatched to extricate the vehicle from the roadway.
UPDATE 11:02 a.m.: A firefighter at the scene is reporting that the driver has been drinking.
