Skate Jam 2, a free all-ages concert and skate competition at the beloved Ukiah Skate Park will take place on Saturday, May 21st from 1-7 pm and boasts a lineup of local and celebrity talent!

Carter Grissom, talent buyer and promoter of the event is excited to bring this event back for its second iteration.

“I’m so grateful to be able to do concerts at the Skate Park. A lot of people worked really hard to build this place years ago and it’s something I’ve always wanted to make happen for the youth in our community. The first Skate Jam was a huge success with over 300 people rocking out and skating throughout the day and having a blast! This one is going to be much of the same. I have curated a line up of bands that include local talent like VOLTE, Downdbeat Crowd, Self Fulfilling Prophecies and DJ Seshwann as well as a couple energetic bands from Sonoma County, Moon Sick and One Armed Joey and a headliner that no one is going to want to miss. Jakob Nowell is the son of late Sublime singer Bradley Nowell and is blowing up right now. He has a style all his own and it’s going to be an honor to host him at Skate Jam 2. To kick everything off SPACE will be performing parts of their teen reality show! Justin Capri and Justin Pryse will be taking care of all the skate comps for the day including prizes and givaways for Best Trick and Highest Ollie. Slam Dunk Pizza, Mikes Dog House and Pure Aloha Shave Ice will be vending.

Thank you to our generous Sponsors: The City of Ukiah, Ukiah Unified School District, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, Yokayo Ranch, Eden, Pryse Skateshop, Dr Marvin Trotter Diamond D Construction, The Greater Ukiah Business, and Tourism Alliance
