Sedan Collides with Green Bridge South of Hopland—Minor Injury and Snarled Traffic

Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a sedan collided with a guard rail on the Green Bridge south of Hopland resulting in minor injuries and a blocked lane.

At 8:09 p.m., the vehicle, described as a silver Audi sedan, reportedly “hit the bridge” and came to rest in the northbound lane.

Reports indicated the driver suffered a head injury and appeared “disoriented”, but the Incident Commander stated the driver experienced a “minor injury”.

As per the CalTrans Quickmap at 8:32 p.m., traffic in the area is impacted as crews clean up the incident. A tow truck has been dispatched.
