Roadway Blocked—Vehicle On Its Side— One-Way Traffic on Highway 101 North of Laytonville

Scanner traffic beginning at 2:25 p.m. indicated a two-vehicle accident on Highway 101 north of Laytonville resulted in one-way traffic while first responders extricate a party from a vehicle on its side.

First responders are actively working to extricate one of the parties involved and have shut down the northbound lane of Highway 101 as they work to free the occupant. The incident reportedly did not result in any injuries.

The Caltrans Quickmap indicates traffic is significantly impacted in the area as first responders work to clear the roadway. A tow truck is en route to the scene.
