According to Mendocino Action News, about an hour previously deputies had been called to the area for a reported arson. A possibly intoxicated suspect had reportedly lit a trailer on fire and fired shots from an ATV.

UPDATE 6/7/2022 9:34 a.m.: The MCSO reports, “The issue has been resolved and the shelter in place is lifted.”

  1. Never ever say “shelter in place” we had enough of that during the PLANdemic. It’s a trigger phrase. Say it another way!

  2. Just want to thank the fire dept, sheriff’s, etc who did such a wonderful job on this case. Although we lost our entire life in that fire we’re rich in many ways because we have each other and our sweet dog Timber is ok too. Thank you again for all you did for us. Ron, Rhonda and Timber too
