Lake County Sheriff’s Office Provided Video Surveillance to CHP Identifying Fatal Hit and Run Suspect

The following is a press release issued by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On June 19th, Lake County Sheriff’s deputies assisted the California Highway Patrol with a hit-and-run investigation in Nice, California. 

During the investigation, the Sheriff’s Office was able to provide the CHP with video from the Flock camera system which assisted in the identification of the involved vehicle. Deputies further assisted the CHP with an area search and eventual contact with the involved vehicle and driver.  William Len, 47, of Clearlake Oaks was arrested by CHP on June 21st, 2022 on charges of felony vehicular manslaughter and was transported to the Hill Road Correctional Facility.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office values the ability to work with surrounding local law enforcement agencies to keep our community safe.

  1. He bailed out pretty fast… wondering where he got the money.. local business owner? Will he get off easy then?

  2. So he kills someone that was walking In the pedestrian are were pedestrians walk he drives over the whit line at 50-60 mpr hits her and keeps going. And the fucker bails out of jail. HE’S GONE.. well he didn’t really go to jail. He was in booking he sat in there until his bail got there
