Scanner traffic indicates that first responders have been deployed to a property in Covelo after reports that a 60-year-old man has suffered traumatic injuries after an accident left him underneath the heavy machinery.
The accident reportedly occurred near the 24000 block of Agency Road. Covelo Fire and CAL FIRE personnel have acknowledged the call and are en route.
UPDATE 12:23 p.m.: As first responders are assessing the scene, the Incident Commander requested an air ambulance land at the Covelo airport.
