Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a vehicle has crashed into a tree along Branscomb Road at approximately 1:28 p.m. The accident occurred west of the town of Branscomb.

Preliminary information indicates that a male party, likely the driver, has a cut on the bridge of his nose due to the collision. First responders are still en route and upon arrival will provide a more detailed report on conditions.

UPDATE 2:03 p.m.: Ambulances initially dispatched to this incident are being canceled, which could suggest the injuries are minor.

UPDATE 2:34 p.m.: The male driver declined medical treatment and all of the resources have been released from the incident.
