[UPDATE: Forward Progress Stopped] Wildfire Burning on the Sonoma County Coast Near Jenner

Scanner traffic beginning around 3;17 p.m. indicated firefighters are being dispatched to a wildfire near the 1400 block of Meyers Grade Road north of the Sonoma County coastal town of Jenner.

Two water tenders have been requested from Mendocino County Coastal fire departments to respond to the fire.

The Alert Wildfire Camera on the Lower Meyers Grade has a full view of the fire, which at this point is spotting along a roadway.


UPDATE 3:33 p.m.: Air resources are at the scene and from above are describing the fire as a half-acre to one-acre in size.


UPDATE 3:41 p.m.: The fire’s forward progress has been stopped.
