Heat Stroke Patient Requires Medical Rescue on Top of Cow Mountain

Scanner traffic beginning at 11:38 p.m. indicates a medical rescue is underway near the top of Cow Mountain regarding a patient experiencing heat stroke.

The dispatcher and Incident Commander are working to provide specific coordinates to the location.

Both ground and air ambulances were dispatched to the scene. The Incident Commander reported the patient is stable and alert.


UPDATE 12:12 p.m.: The patient has been successfully picked up by an air ambulance and is being transported to receive further medical care.
