On July 10, 2022, at approximately 10:34 pm, Santa Rosa CHP officers responded to a crash on Stony Point Road and Butler Avenue. It was reported that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. The female pedestrian sustained major injuries that are considered life-threatening.

Preliminary investigation indicates the suspect vehicle was traveling northbound on Stony Point Road. We believe the pedestrian was on the right shoulder when the crash occurred. The vehicle subsequently fled the scene after the crash. The investigation is ongoing, but we believe the suspect vehicle to be a 2014, 2015, or 2016 Jeep Cherokee. The Jeep is black in color and has right front/side damage.

Please contact the Santa Rosa CHP Office at (707)588-1400 if you have any information regarding this crash or the suspect vehicle.
