Possibly ‘Endangered’ Siskiyou County Woman Missing—Have You Seen Ashleigh?

The following is a press release issued by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office:


The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your assistance regarding a possible missing and endangered female, Ashleigh Raeann Starr. Starr was last seen in the Mount Shasta area of Siskiyou County, near Gumboot Lake. She was last seen with her boyfriend, who has been accounted for and is also looking for her. There is no associated vehicle listed with Starr, and it is unknown at this time of any possible destinations. Please help her family locate her.

If you have any type of contact or information, please contact the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office through our 24-hour Dispatch Center at (530) 841-2900.

  1. So the boyfriend was the person she was last seen with, he’s looking for her too. Is this like the guy who steals your wallet and helps you look for it ?

  2. How did the police dept not locate her? Do they actually look! SAD they don’t really care to do their job to Protect and Serve!
