Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a single vehicle went off Old River Road near the Hopland Cemetary around 7:20 this evening coming to rest after colliding with a tree in a ditch.

Initial information described the vehicle as not being visible from the roadway.

Upon arrival, the Incident Commander reported the vehicle was 15-20′ down a roadside ditch and both the patients had self-extricated.

One of the patients had what was described as ‘minor injuries and as of 7:47 p.m., they were still assessing the other patient. A ground ambulance is going to be transporting one of the parties to a local hospital.
