Categories:

Scanner traffic beginning around 2:50 p.m. indicates that a full wildland fire response has been deployed to the 39000 block of Little River-Airport Road due to a vegetation fire being referred to as the Little Fire.

The fire is reportedly the result of a downed power line that made contact with nearby vegetation lighting the blaze.

UPDATE 3:08 p.m.: As four firefighting aircraft converged on the area of the Little Fire, they found the fire was a 10’x10′ spot that had been extinguished by locals. A fire engine was just arriving on scene.
