On 08-10-22 at about 8:25 PM, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a vehicle parked in the 22000 block of East Side Road in Willits, California.

The caller advised the vehicle was occupied by a male subject in the back seat, which possibly was stalking a resident in the area, not the reporting party.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and located a green Toyota parked in the area. They contacted a male subject in the back seat, who was identified as Alfredo Nunez Aguilar.

Aguilar was displaying signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The Deputies further noticed a handgun in plain view within reach of Aguilar and a used glass pipe, commonly used to smoke controlled substances.

Aguilar was given verbal commands to keep his hands visible and exit the vehicle. Aguilar complied and was detained.

Sheriff’s Deputies were advised Aguilar was prohibited by law from possessing firearms or ammunition.

Aguilar was arrested for possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person (29800(A)(1) PC and 30305(A)(1) PC), possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm (11370.1(A) HS), being under the influence of a controlled substance while armed (11550(E) HS) and possession of a drug paraphernalia (11364 HS).

Aguilar was to be held in the Mendocino County Jail in lieu of $35,000.00 bail.

  1. What is wrong with having bolt cutters, wire cutters & binoculars in your vehicle? I keep all of those in my truck toolbox or cab all of the time because I work for a living & need them to do my job. Can I be in trouble for that?

    • Do you smoke meth on the side of the road while using those binoculars to look into peoples windows? This is why women don’t feel safe. We have to know the difference between using tools creepily and using them for work, or no one will believe women saying they’re being stalked

  2. This gentlman is creepy. He just sits in his truck in a small road facing the paved road. Day or nite hes awake. I leave early for work and get home late. Gotta wonder what he is up to ?? My wife is armed. But i still dont like going away. Im glad they finally checked into him obviously im not the only one that motived
