The following is a press release issued by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On 08-22-2022 at about 12:00 PM Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to contact a witness to an armed robbery that occurred near a residence at the intersection of Hopper Lane and Ledger Lane in Covelo California.
Deputies arrived in the area and contacted an eyewitness who reported Georgie BrittonHoaglin had confronted an adult male in front of their residence as he was driving away in his vehicle.
The adult male stopped the vehicle when BrittonHoaglin approached brandishing a pistol. BrittonHoaglin brandished the pistol and demanded the adult male provide him money.
The adult male said he did not have any money and BrittonHoaglin pistol whipped the adult male in the head. Because of the pistol whipping, the adult male gave cigarettes and his cellular phone to BrittonHoaglin.
BrittonHoaglin told the adult male to exit the vehicle but instead he fled in the vehicle.
Deputies searched the area with the assistance of a Round Valley Tribal Police Officer and located BrittonHoaglin walking in the roadway of Hopper Lane. When BrittonHoaglin was located he quickly tossed a sweatshirt which contained a loaded .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol onto the ground.
BrittonHoaglin was taken into custody without further incident. BrittonHoaglin was also in possession of the adult male’s cellular phone which he had robbed from him earlier in the day.
BrittonHoaglin was arrested for the listed charges. BrittonHoaglin was booked into the Mendocino County Jail and was to be held without bail due to a felony no bail arrest warrant for violation of his Post Release Community Supervision probation (PRCS).
All the Hoaglins in Covelo are born with meth already in their system.
They were infamous in the 70’s, and here it is generations later still producing criminals.
Please not all the hoglins are bad people the majority but not all I’ve had my own run-ins with Hoagland stealing my car from me a long time ago I forgave her and I still love her but I won’t deal with her or be around her anymore she is a Hoaglin she knows who she is but like I said the majority of them are okay I still wouldn’t trust any of them that’s why I don’t allow myself to be around toxic people anymore and our toxic maybe two or three of them are a beautiful people though the ones that work at the food bank in Willits California are beautiful people life insurance she did step one
