The Shamrock Fire started shortly before 5 p.m. Resources are stretched as a major fire is burning in the town of Clearlake. Some aircraft has been redirected from Clearlake, according to the scanner.
The fire is 1/2 acre moving uphill at moderate rate of spread.
One structure is reported by firefighters to be threatened.
Tankers 90,91, and 93 show as heading there on FlightRadar.
UPDATE 5:12 p.m.: The fire is moving at a rapid rate of spread, the Incident Commander reported. He said once it comes to the top of the ridge “[there will be a] threat to the Cherry Creek Subdivision,” reported the Incident Commander. Shamrock UPDATE 6 p.m.: Forward progress has stopped. Smoke is dissipating and some resources are being cancelled.
