Pedestrian Hospitalized This Morning After Being Struck by Vehicle on North State Street

A woman was struck by a Ford Escape this morning on North State Street in front of the Forks Market. She was hospitalized and preliminary investigations from the scene have not found alcohol or drugs to be a contributing factor.

The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicates the collision occurred at 6:07 a.m. and resulted in the shutdown of North State Street’s northbound lane as first responders navigated the scene.
