The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page indicates a single-vehicle collision early this morning near the eastern Lake County town of Spring Valley resulted in major injuries.
The incident reportedly occurred around 4:27 a.m. near the intersection of New Long Valley Road and Shasta Road before the “Cowboy Church”.
The reporting parting told dispatch there were two occupants in a white F250 truck that collided with a tree. One of the vehicle’s occupants was reportedly “belligerent” with the reporting party who had possibly been drinking.
One reporting party indicated there was a subject lying in the roadway near the collision. Medical personnel responded to the scene a tow truck was deployed.
The CHP Incident Information page was updated this morning at 9:24 designating the incident as a major injury accident.
