Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a traffic accident in the southbound lane of Highway 101 along the Willits Grade has impeded the roadway requiring traffic controls.
Around 2:48 p.m., a vehicle smashed into a guardrail and came to rest in the roadway impeding traffic.
Units on scene requested traffic control to slow down southbound traffic in the area describing drivers as coming in “pretty fast.”
UPDATE 3:09 p.m.: The Incident Commander reported the roadway is clear and the driver is non-injured.
