First responders are converging on the shoreline of Clear Lake after a vehicle went off the roadway, rolled several times, and came to rest in the darkened waters.

Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate the vehicle went off State Route 20 northwest of Lucerne around 6:13 p.m. and rolled several times before coming to rest in the lake.

The reporting party told dispatch they have a visual of the vehicle’s lights under the surface and had yet to see any parties emerge from the vehicle.

An air medic, a ground ambulance, a dive team, and other emergency personnel have been deployed to the scene.

Thank you On the Scanner Lake County for transcribing the initial scanner traffic we used to compose this piece.

UPDATE 7:33 p.m.: There was never a report on injuries provided by the Incident Commander. An air ambulance did transport one involved party to Santa Rosa Memorial.
