46-Year-Old Man Dies After Motorcycle Crash West of Boonville

The following is a press release issued by the Ukiah Police Department. This has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On March 31st, 2023, at approximately 6:28 PM, the California Highway Patrol responded to a solo motorcycle collision on SR-128, west of Boonville. Based on the preliminary investigation, the rider was driving a 2004 Honda CBR motorcycle on SR-128, westbound, in the area of milepost marker 27.76. For unknown reasons, the rider allowed the motorcycle to travel off the north road edge of SR-128. As a result, the motorcycle overturned and the rider was ejected. The motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, it is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision. 

This collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Ukiah Area. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident are asked to contact the CHP office at (707) 467-4420.
