A two-vehicle collision on the north end of the Willits bypass is slowing Highway 101 traffic this afternoon. A juvenile passenger is being assessed for back injuries.

Initially reported at 1:15 p.m., the traffic collision reportedly involved a Chevrolet truck and a Honda resulting in the two vehicles coming to rest in the southbound lanes of Highway 101.

The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicates a baby was in one of the involved vehicles, but the Incident Commander’s report on conditions did not indicate the baby was injured.

The Caltrans Quickmap indicates that traffic is slowed in the area as first responders address the scene.
